Like many of you, I didn't grow up on a farm or a homestead. As a military kid, I grew up in lots of places — but some of my earliest and most treasured memories are of my mom handing me herbs to smell with my eyes closed, asking me to guess what they were. Those quiet moments planted a seed.

My love of cooking deepened that connection — food has always been one of the main ways I love on my family and friends. But it was watching loved ones battle autoimmune diseases, and seeing how profoundly the quality of what they put in and on their bodies made a difference, that turned a quiet calling into a loud passion.

Pearl & Vine was born from that passion — a deep awe of what God provides and how beautifully it benefits our bodies. I am always learning, and I am so excited to share that journey with you.
